The USCIS San Jose Field Office at 1887 Monterey Road is closed for business to begin the move to their new location. Those seeking immigration and citizenship information may visit the new location beginning on March 20.
- The new location for the San Jose Field Office is 1450 Coleman Avenue, Santa Clara.
- It is on the west side of the Norman Mineta San Jose International Airport across from Costco Wholesale. It is a gray building with open parking in the front.
- Information services will start on Wednesday, March 20, and interviews for citizenship and residency will begin Thursday, March 21. During the closure, those with a genuine emergency should go to the USCIS San Francisco Field Office at 444 Washington Street, San Francisco, during business hours for service.
The San Jose Application Support Center is slated to move to the new San Jose Field Office from its present location at 122 Charcot Avenue in San Jose. That office will close on April 4, and will be open at the Coleman Avenue location on April 8.
The field office Grand Opening will take place sometime in mid-May.
